Tanzania's third practice game in UK washed out
Heavy rains washed out the third practice game between Tanzania and 3 Rivers & Watford Select XI on Wednesday.

3 Rivers & Watford Select XI won the toss and elected to bat first. Tanzania got an early breakthrough when Benson Mwita dismissed key batsmen Chris Chellow of Australia. The game only lasted three overs before the match was abandoned due to heavy downpour.

Tanzanian opening bowler duo of skipper Hamisi Abdallah and Khalil Rehemtulla have sustained minor injuries, which might keep them out of the rest of the UK tour to enable them to recover for the Pepsi ICC World Cricket Division 4 in Bologna, Italy.

Tanzania tours England as preparation for the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 4 tournament in Bologna, scheduled from August 14-21. It will join Nepal, USA, Italy, Cayman Islands and Argentina to compete in the next stage of the competition as the teams push ultimately towards inclusion in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
