Namibia continue winning run but Kenya slip up
Hosts Namibia was left as the only unbeaten team at the ICC Africa U19 CWCQ after a fourth consecutive win on Wednesday.

It defeated Tanzania by five wickets with an excellent all-round display. Tanzania, who recovered from 51-5, posted 146 all out with Zhivago Groenwalt taking 3-20.

In reply, Namibia reached its target in the 41st over, with Gerhard Lotter making 31.

Kenya lost its unbeaten record when it stumbled to a five-wicket defeat against Uganda. Making just 155-9 in its 50 overs, Kenya could not defend its total against an impressive Uganda side.

In the most exciting match of the day, Sierra Leone achieved a narrow two-wicket victory over Nigeria.

Finally, at the United Oval the plucky Zambia team set a competitive 162 all out but Botswana reached its target with three wickets remaining.

Thursday is a rest day in the tournament, with Friday's match of the day set to be between table toppers Namibia and Kenya.
