The application process for a new panel of Cricket Kenya National Selectors is now open with Cricket Kenya looking to appoint a new Chairman of Selectors and up to two National Selectors.
Since the announcement that CK's selection process was to be revised a number of applications have already been submitted. Detailed job descriptions are available for the new posts which will be remunerated part time positions.
Cricket Kenya Chief Executive Tom Sears said: 'We see these positions as crucial to our success at all levels. We are looking to attract selectors with a strong cricketing pedigree, the integrity and attention to detail required and a passion to see cricket in Kenya succeed.
'The initial response has been very positive and we are keen to attract interest from anyone with the right credentials, whether they are still actively involved in the game or not.
We are entering an important period for Cricket Kenya with a number of key series in preparation for the ICC World Cup, the World Cup itself and also the continuing progress of our other national teams including the Under 19's who have a global qualifying event next year.'
