Zimbabwe and Kenya register opening day wins
Zimbabwe and Kenya were the winners on the opening day of the Pepsi ICC Africa Women's World Cup Qualifier.

Zimbabwe enjoyed a comfortable 131-run win over Uganda. It made 200-5 in 50 overs, with Ashley Ndiraya making 74 and Sharne Mayers 40, before bowling out Uganda for 69, with Pellagia Mujaji taking 5-14.

In the other game, Tanzania was dismissed by Kenya for 91 all out, with Margaret Banja taking 4-25.

Kenya was then restricted to 70-6, but a vital seventh wicket stand helped it achieve victory by four wickets.
