Captain Kaushal Patel of Seychelles bowls to Rwanda's Lalji Hirani
In the final match on Achimota Field A, Rwanda played the relative minnows, Seychelles. Playing in their first ICC Africa Regional event, the Seychelles were surprise finalist in this Division 3 tournament.

Electing to bat the Rwandans put on a very competitive total of 125 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs. Opener Audifax Byiringiro top scored with 31 runs, while playing the anchor role. Sairam Gopalan scored a quick fire 24 of 29 ball, he was assisted by Andre Kayitera 29.

In pursuit of the target the Seychelles were in trouble early at 6 for 2.A spirited recovery by Shiva Nagaraja 41 of 58 balls and Harikrishnan Kamalan 39. they fell short of the total in the final over.

This was the crowning moment for the Rwandans who now progress to Division 2 in the last week of April, in Benoni South Africa

The third place play off was a North versus South affair. Lesotho were matched against Morocco. Morocco won the toss and asked Lesotho to bat. They were able to set a competitive 93 in 19 overs. Top scorer was Darfaraj patel with 26 off 49 balls. Faizirl Hanslod played a little cameo role in the middle of the innings with a 14 off 17 balls.

Pick of the Moroccan bowlers was Redouan Guelzim with a very smart 4-4 . He effectively wrapped up the tail.

Morocco got off to a good start with the opening wicket partnership of 34. How ever the rest of the batter were unable to build on this firm foundation. they lost wickets with steady regularity and were eventually all out for 76. Seth Suleman bowled well again an returned four wickets.

Lesotho's win by 17 runs confirmed their third spot in the ICC Africa T20 Division 3.

The fifth place playoff saw Gambia and Cameroon in a West African derby. Cameroon batting first were able to post 87 in their 20 overs. Franck Patipe top scored with a 22. Gabriel Njie had match figures of 4-13 in his 4 overs. He was the major factor in Gambia's ability to restrict Cameroon to the smallish target.

It was with a very controlled and positive batting approach that the Gambians began the chase. They were able to pass the target with 8 wickets in hand in the 16th over. The Star of the innings was Moses Bhoum, he was unbeaten on 51 at the end of the innings. with this win the Gambians were able to secure their fifth position on the final log.
