A tight final over by John Mooney helped Ireland complete a 3-0 series win over host Kenya in the T20 International series.
In the third and final match of the series at the Mombasa Sports Club ground, Ireland after choosing to bat first could make only 107-9 in its 20 overs.
In its chase, Kenya looked poised for a win, but needing seven off the last over, the home team could make just four runs.
Earlier Gary Wilson (32) and Ed Joyce (38) added 55 runs for the fourth wicket to revive Ireland innings. But there was no contribution from the other batsmen,
For Kenya, Shem Ngoche (4-14) was the key wicket-taker. Hiren Varaiya (2-19) also picked up wickets.
In its chase, skipper Collins Obuya (42) and Tanmay Mishra (37) appeared to be steering Kenya home with their 53 run third wicket stand. Thereafter there was steady fall of wickets as Kenya stumbled in the chase.
George Dockrell (2-13), Boyd Rankin (2-25) and Andrew White (2-18) picked up wickets for Ireland.
The final over was bowled by Mooney (1-20) who held his nerves to seal the win for Ireland.
