Zambia wins the final of the ICC Africa Division 3
AFTERNOON MATCHES

Zambia has taken out the final of the ICC Africa Division 3, beating Gambia by 98 runs. Playing on Field 'A' of the Sahara Park Willowmoore Stadium, Zambia batted first and scored 185 for the loss of 7 wickets. A. Nsenshaled the scoring with a quick-fire79 off 60 balls. The leading wicket takers were A. Conteh(2-24) and A. Jarju(2-24 in four overs). Chasing the high target, Gambia was not able to produce any big scores, and was all out for 87. Taking wickets for Zambia was S. Sopariya, who took 3 wickets for 26 runs, and I. Patel, who displayed some tight bowling to take 3 wickets for 9 runs.

On field 'B', Cameroon played Morocco. Morocco won the toss and elected to bat. Morocco scored 126 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in its allotted 20 overs. A. Ennaoui scored 48 runs off 29 balls, and, on the Cameroon bowling side, M. Ngueudam took 3 wickets for 17 runs. Cameroon left the Moroccans stunned when it scored 128 runs for the loss of only 2 wickets to win the match by 8 wickets. T. Nasser scored 82 runs off 48 balls.

Field 'C' of Sahara Park Willowmoore saw Mali take on Seychelles. After winning the toss Mali went in to bat, scoring 78 for the loss of 10 wickets.S. Sissoko scored 26 runs of 35 balls, andSeychelles bowlers T. Shanmugam (2 -12) and DD Varsani(2-6) recorded the best bowling figures. Batting second, Seychelles scored 77 runs in 9 overs without the loss of a wicket,leading to a comfortable 10 wicket victory. J. Ratnayake scored 44* and T. Hopntichscored 26*.

In one of the closest matches of the tournament, Rwanda defeated St. Helena by 1 run. On the main oval of Sahara Park Willowmoore, Rwanda decided to bat after winning the toss, and scored 114 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. A. Kayitera scoredalmost half the runs (53). On the bowling side, G. Johnson took 3 wickets for 15 runs. In response, St. Helena lost 6 wickets to score 113,falling 1 run short of a draw. D. Richards scored 38 runs, and, taking wickets for Rwanda, S. Vardhineni took 2 for 13.
