Kenya snatched a close victory over rivals Tanzania by four runs on the second day of the Africa U15 Girls Tournament played at Kyambogo Cricket Oval on Monday.
Tanzania elected to field and soon restricted Kenya to 45-5 with top scores from Player of the Match Jane Achieng (five runs not out in same number of balls) and Mako Wako (five runs in nine balls). Defending its low total, Kenya restricted the opposition to 41-1, despite an unbeaten 10 runs (31 balls) by Jesca Emil. Wako picked up 1-5 in two overs.
Kenya's next match of the day against Uganda was abandoned due to bad weather.
Tanzania will next play two games against Kenya and Uganda on Tuesday
