Uganda won the second match against Kenya by two wickets to clinch the Twenty20 series 2-0 at Nairobi Gymkhana on Tuesday.
Electing to bat first, Kenya posted a total of 104-7, with top scores from David Obuya (37 in 23 balls), and Nehemiah Odhiambo (22). Waiswa Charles (1-14), Muhumua Deus (1-13) and Akbar Baig (1-16) were the pick of the bowlers for the visitors.
In response, Uganda posted 109-8 with four balls to spare with major contributions from Ivan Thowithemwira (30), Roger Mukasa (23) and Arthur Ziraba (21). Jimmy Kamande impressed with his bowling figures of 3-20, but none of the other bowlers created an impact.
Uganda had earlier defeated Kenya by four wickets in the first 20-over match played at the same venue on Monday and the teams will next battle it out in the three-match 50-over series.
