Kenya's players have regrouped for training at the Aga Khan Sports Club in preparations for the ICC Intercontinental Cup tie against Scotland at Nairobi Gymkhana from 25-28 January.
The team has been restricted to fitness sessions in the gym due to the prevailing weather conditions in Nairobi.
According to Cricket Kenya treasurer, Nasoor Verjee, who is also the election sub-committee chairman, all youngsters who played for Kenya against Uganda in December will be available for selection. The board will also fly in former captain and vice-captain, Steve Tikolo and Thomas Odoyo respectively, for both the ICC Intercontinental Cup and the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers slated for the United Arab Emirates from 9-13 February.
Kenya is drawn in Group B of the qualifier with the Netherlands, Canada and hosts UAE while the other group has Ireland, Scotland, Afghanistan and the United States of America. The top two teams from this event will progress to the ICC World Twenty20 2010 in the West Indies in April.
