An all-round performance by Namibia helped it beat Ghana by seven wickets in the second day of the Pepsi ICC U17 All Africa Tournament played at Nairobi Gymkhana Club on Saturday.
Vice captain Henry-Owen Bosman was the pick of the bowlers for Namibia finishing with excellent figures of 3-4 while wicket-keeper batsman Gert Petrus Lotter smashed an unbeaten 51 in 29 balls to star in the victory.
Ghana elected to bat first but struggled to find runs with Namibia putting on a tight bowling display. Gabriel Ananya (23 runs) top-scored for Ghana as the side finished at 82 all out in less than 26 overs.
In response, Kenya achieved the set target in less than 15 overs with the loss of three wickets.
This is Ghana's second consecutive defeat in the tournament while Kenya and Namibia, with one win each, will play each other at the same venue on Sunday in the final game of the tournament.
